Kikiope Oluwarore
Dr. Kikiope is a veterinarian and the founder of One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI). She has over 12 years of interrelated experience in One Health and Animal Welfare programming, research, and nonprofit management. She acquired her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; is a Commonwealth Scholar alumnus, completing her M.Sc. degree in Global Health and Infectious Diseases at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland; and is currently engaged in a PhD program at the University of Abuja, Nigeria.
While she currently consults for the World Health Organization (WHO), she has previously consulted/managed projects at the African Union Inter-African Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR), Animal Advocacy Africa (AAA), Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW), Education as a Vaccine (EVA), and Forward Africa.
Furthermore, she is an alumnus of the Commonwealth Scholarships (2014), Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) of the United States Consulate (2014), and the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation program (2021).
